About me

alt text

I am currently a postdoc with Berkeley Education Alliance for Research in Singapore (BEARS), University of California, Berkeley, supervised by Prof. Costas J. Spanos (UC Berkeley) and Prof. Guoqiang Hu (Nanyang Technological University). Prior to that I got my PhD. from Tsinghua University under the guidance of Prof. Xiaohong Guan and Prof. (Samual) Qing-Shan Jia.

My research interests are in the area of cyber-physical energy systems (CPES), such as smart grid and smart buildings from the perspective of market design, optimization and control. The goal is to advance a reliable, flexible and sustainable CPES with integrated interdisciplinary theories and techniques, such as decentralized control, reinforcement learning (RL), game theory and market mechanisms. Beyond that I am also excited about developing foundational theories and techniques, such as decentralized optimization for structured convex or non-convex problems, by identifying the underlying special structures and features of CPES, which can lead to computational efficient and scalable solutions to other networked systems. You can find my Research Statement here.
